Basic Troubleshooting

Restart the app.

Many issues can be resolved by simply restarting the app. If you are having problems, try this first.

Restart your device.

If restarting the app doesn't help, try restarting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Uninstall, then reinstall the app.

If all else fails, consider uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it again. Just be aware that removing the app will erase any data stored by it.

I can't hear anything, what's going on?

The short answer is that you probably need to either turn up the volume or flip the silent switch.

Apple has made it so that apps on iOS can operate in one of two modes:

Audio plays even when the screen is locked, but will ignore the silent switchAudio only plays when the screen is not locked, and the silent switch is not set

Originally the app used the first mode. However, as of version 2.9.2 the app uses the second mode by default. This is to prevent the common occurrence of someone's phone loudly playing music during Sacrament meeting when they thought it was muted.

If you would prefer to go back to the way things were before, you can turn off the "respect silent switch" setting in the app.
